NBSA spring recreational (house) baseball and softball registration is open January 1, 2025 through March 20th, 2025. Please review some important information below about registration and league changes this year.
1. There will be a $10 discount if you register before February 17th, 2025.
2. To help our commissioners streamline roster configurations, we are allowing friend requests to be only one friend this year. Commissioners will use school attended and past team information while considering team formation.
3. NBSA has approved Recreational players to play their current grade level if parents feel participants are capable and they meet grade level requirements. Note that this only pertains to a few players each year. Contact NBSA at [email protected] while registering.
4. Any registrations made after March 19th will incur a $25 late fee and players will only be accepted if there is roster spaces available.
Spring Recreational (house) Baseball programs Preliminary Schedules:
· Rookie- Games and practices will be on Saturdays
· Co-ed Coach Pitch- The planned days of games are Monday and Wednesday / Note: Fridays and weekends may be used depending on the number of teams (depending on amount of registered participants), field availability, and weather issues.
· Boy's Machine Pitch- The planned days of games are Tuesday and Thursday / Note: Fridays and weekends may be used depending on the number of teams (depending on amount of registered participants), field availability, and weather issues.
· H league- Tryout planned for April 2 at Total Sports Farmington.
· G League- Tryout planned for April 2 at Total Sports Farmington.
· E League - Registration to open late winter with games starting in June.
Spring Recreational (house) Softball programs Preliminary Schedules:
· Girl’s Coach Pitch (Gr 1-3) - TBD
· Primary Softball (Gr 4-5) - TBD
· Intermediate Softball (Gr 6-7) - TBD
· Advanced Softball (GR 8-10) - TBD
- Recreational softball teams will play inter-community games so game days are TBD until number of communities and teams are determined.
- Intermediate and Advanced softball teams will be formed if enough players register. In some seasons, Intermediate and Advanced players may be asked to form combo teams in order to develop sufficient rosters. Teams will participate in a league with other community rec teams.
