NBSA Umpires

The Northville Umpires Association (NUA) is responsible for both the assignment and umpiring of all baseball games played in Northville. This includes both the House and Travel leagues. For softball, NUA assigns only the House leagues.

We are always looking for candidates interested in umpiring in Northville. Umpiring is a great opportunity for people of all ages to make some additional money and stay involved with baseball and softball.

No experience is necessary, however prior baseball/softball experience and/or knowledge a plus. NUA conducts an annual Umpire Clinic for all umpires before each season starts. Over the course of the eight-hour clinic, prospective umpires gain an understanding of the rules of baseball/softball, learn proper positioning and umpire technique, and upon successful completion of a written and skill assessment, are given equipment for the upcoming season.

Individuals should be at least 14 years old to umpire. Registration information coming soon.
